What is happening in the land market in Ukraine now?

In July 2021, we joined efforts with Concorde Capital to launch a KupiPai online platform, bringing together farmland owners, investors, and agricultural holdings. We offer turnkey legal and consulting services to support the farmland sale transactions.

According to our estimates, says Igor Mazepa, black soil will cost about US$2,000/ha on average at the first stage of the land market launch, while agricultural holdings will pay rent of US$150-200 a year under tenancy agreements. Therefore, the guaranteed rental income will stand at 7-10% per annum. At the same time, the annual growth in land prices is expected at 15-20%, similar to the price trends in most European countries after the land market launch. As big capital cannot enter the market for the next two years, this will maximise returns for trailblazing investors. Our platform will power a fast and reliable process of buying and selling for both parties.

What is happening in the land market now? In a few words. Cutting to the chase, demand is abundant and supply is low, - comments Igor Mazepa.

We now have more than 2,000 registered investors, people who are ready to buy land. Not so many deals have been closed so far. Certainly, investors choose the most profitable options with high projected returns. If the return is below 7%, such land cannot be sold very quickly on our platform.
